![]() ![]() I've noticed there is a FPS setting in the registry, could this help if its changed? Are there any Nvidia tweaks that might help? -Sorry meant to post this in Software forum. If I use Itch w/ Serato Video(demo version) on my PC looks a lot smoother, like 30fps. This is where it started to bug me: Recently I started using a iMac at the club loaded with VDJ and Serato/Mix Emergency, looks like I'm watching the videos on a 240hz tv. Right now I have an i7 proc w a Nvidia Gt540m 2Gb video card. I've see this better frame rate on onboard Intel video cards (25fps) vs Nvidia till something kicks up CPU usage. ![]() Of course it depends on the codec, player, video quaility. It always looks like Im playing a video from a computer, kinda choppy at times. I have always had a little slower framerate (like 20fps) on VDJ on every system I ever have vs lets say media player. Mi圎mergency 1 users are still eligible to upgrade to Mi圎mergency 2 for only 99 USD. I expect we’ll see this are continue to grow and mature.I wouldnt say this is a VDJ issue, but maybe. Integrating the two could encourage that kind of collaboration, as dj rndm and Robotkid discovered in our VIDEO-SL review. Require Mi圎mergency 2.3. All Plug-ins You can download individual plug-ins below, or all at once. ![]() The developers actually tout collaborative performance controls and VJs working to design and perform with reactive visuals alongside the DJ. Our latest Plug-in: Alpha Overlay Alpha Overlay is a channel effect that uses the Alpha channel of the currently playing video to composite itself over the image of the opposite channel. In fact, the ability to create custom visualizations means DJs could commission visuals from a VJ and tour with them. (See Jaymis’ rant about that direction.) But I don’t get that sense here. So who is this for? A lot of the push has been for giving DJs visuals easily - with the danger being potentially eliminating VJs or dumbing down visuals, which isn’t really good for anyone. As with a number of recent Mac apps, you need a MacBook Pro or other Mac hardware with dedicated graphics. The full version will cost US$179 (the demo is watermarked and doesn’t support fullscreen output). The software is currently in public beta, Mac-only.
